A camera theremin: play notes and chords with your hands, no touching required. Based on Gesture Synth.
Raise and lower your hand to pick the note. Higher hand → higher note, across three octaves (C3 to C6), snapped to standard tuning — every note lands in tune. The keyboard on the left edge shows the note you're on and lights up every note in the chord.
Head Tilt
Tilt your head to warp the sound:
One way → warm and woody
The other → bright, resonant filter sweep
Fingers (Chord Type)
Fist / no hand → single note
1 → major
2 → minor
3 → dominant 7th
4 → diminished 7th
Height
Higher → louder, lower → softer.
No left hand in view? Fixed volume.
The big readout shows the note your right hand is on, with the chord type underneath.
Use the 🕰 button (top right) to start a click track. Set the tempo with the BPM box (40–240). The first beat of each bar is accented.
